GEOGRAPHY
LESSON 1: Lesson to introduce the topic:
During this session we will reflect on the ideas that we introduced in the previous session and work on them.

LESSON 3: Lesson to work on the bodies of land and the water bodies
During this session we will work on these ideas using Montessori images representing all the land masses and bodies of water while we are watching them in the videos.

LESSON 4: Lesson to continue working on the bodies of land and the water bodies
Students will prepare schemas and mind maps about the landforms. They will use their books to complete them and the information from the videos that the teacher will copy or project on the whiteboard.
LESSON 5: Lesson about the main landforms and bodies of water around the world

LESSON 6: Mountains and rivers of the world / Countries and cities of the world
During this lesson we will prepare our physical and political world maps:
2º) Mountains: Rocky Mountains, Himalayas, Alps, Andes, Great Dividing Range, Atlas Mountains.
3º) Rivers: Amazon, Nile, Mississippi, Volga, Yangtze, Darling.
2º) Find interesting information about the monument on the internet and include it just inside your leaflet. You can add pictures and drawings to decorate it.
3º) Draw a physical world map at the back of your leaflet to locate the monument.
4º) Locate in this map any important mountains or rivers that are close to this monument.
LESSON 7: Lesson about the main landforms and bodies of water in Europe
Physical map representing its major physical features.
Pictures and drawings to represent important information about the country.
LESSON 8: Spain (physical and political features)
Then, we will prepare in groups a three-dimensional physical map of Spain using plasticine.

3º) Are some countries trying to reduce pollution?

LESSON 6: Mountains and rivers of the world / Countries and cities of the world
During this lesson we will prepare our physical and political world maps:
- Let´s start preparing our physical world map adding:
2º) Mountains: Rocky Mountains, Himalayas, Alps, Andes, Great Dividing Range, Atlas Mountains.
3º) Rivers: Amazon, Nile, Mississippi, Volga, Yangtze, Darling.
- We continue preparing our political world map, locating some important countries and capital cities/cities such as: USA (Washington DC/New York), Brasil (Brasilia/Río de Janeiro), Russia (Moscow- Moscú), China (Beijing), Japan (Tokyo-Tokio), ... we will include different countries taking into account the nationality and background of our students and their families.
- Monuments of the world. Introduce the investigation with this video. Then explain them the research that they will prepare at home.
- Student´s research: prepare a leaflet about a monument of the world where you will include:
